Hilton Salmon Fishers

This group of four salmon fishers from Hilton are shown displaying an unusual catch - a giant sun fish whose normal habitat would be Pacific waters. This was caught by them at Dornoch in 1931. Does anyone know the identities of the fishermen?

It has been a while since I last saw this photograph as a child. Second on the right is Hugh Ross of 20 Shore Street Hilton of Cadbol. He was married to my mums sister Frances Ross (nee McIntyre from Glasgow)

I think that's Ecky Mackay of Shore Street, Hilton, on the left. Ecky lived with his sister Bella & Kenny Meek, the plumber. He worked often at the salmon nets.
