Object Description
Set of four bowling bowls, each with 2 circular ivory inlays, one of 30mm diameter bearing the initials "WJM" on one side and one of 18mm diameter bearing the number " 1, 2, 3 or 4" on the other side. The initial side has the number "T6114" and the number side has "No. 3 BIAS" and "Thomas Taylor, Glasgow" incised into the wooden surface. Each bowl also has an incised circle on its surface with "70" and "BIBC" inside it. The cardboard box has the makers name, address, official credentials and trademark printed on the outside. Belonged to Provost W.J. Munro.
