Object Description

A pair of wooden butter pats used for working butter into shape. Each pat is rectangular in shape with a handle. The outside is smooth and the inside is ridged to give this effect to the pats of butter, before selling to the customers.
Used by grocer's, this process was often done in the shop for the customer while they waited.
