Yes Mary Gardiner, my Mother, is 4th from the right on the front row, not 5th as labelled. Sixth from the right (ie 4th from the left, labelled as ?), is Margaret Mackenzie, who lived in the little house next to the Churh of Scotland in Tain. As an adult she was a school teacher near Evanton.
Neil Calder
My great Uncle Rainy Calder is seated 1st left on the front row. He was 15 at the time of this photo. He was the youngest brother of Alexander (my Grandfather) and Isabelle (my Great Aunt). He was an engineer and spent much of his life working abroad in the oil industry, but in the time I knew him he was retired in Northampton. His Father and Grandfather were road contractors in the area.
