The children in this photo are not fancydress participants but those who took part in the open air children's concert for the crowning ceremony which took place in the grounds of the Old Academy. The children performed songs and dances from nursery rhymes and you can make out Wee Willy Winky and Little Miss Muffet standing near one of the queen's page boys I recognise the top of my sister's bonnet who played the part of "Mary had a little lamb".

I am the page boy on the left and my brother Colin on the right.I think the little girl next to him could be Alison Gray?

I am pretty sure I was the second page boy
