    Angela Hamblin

I am really delighted to see this photograph, it has brought back some very happy memories of my school days at TRA. My name then was Angela Edwards. I married in 1981, and have been Mrs Angela Hamblin for the past thirty years. I always remember TRA as an extremely vibrant school with lots of interesting projects always on the go. From a terrific Debating Society, to all the various competitive sports, there was never a dull minute. Ann Paul was my best friend at the time and we were inseperable. Ann, I understand became an outstanding nurse, I married a well known Scientist (Dr.Michael Hamblin)and have spent the past twenty years splitting my time between the US and East-Lothian. I loved Art, and Miss Macleod my Art Teacher at Tain at the time encouraged me to pursue a career in Art, which I have done. She had studied with Joan Eardley and Ann Redpath, and had a level of skill and quality of teaching that transcended a humble classroom. I was very lucky to have been taught by her. All my very best to TRA may it continue to be an outstanding school for many years to come.

    RODDY MATHESON

I remember Ian Marshall well. When I used to live in Inver Ian was my pal. We did a lot things together. I moved from inver later on in years but never forgot Ian or Inver the place of my birth.

David Ross in the back row is my second cousin. His father Hector Ross (Heckie) was my father's uncle. In my early teens I went with my parents on New Years Day to visit David, his brother Alan and parents Heckie and Nan.
