"Googling" on names from my increasingly distant past I came across the picture with Alix Tulloch, who appears in age to fit with a lady who was a colleague in the then National Commercial Bank in Edinburgh (now RBS). If anyone knows of her whereabouts, I would like to get in touch.

Mary mackintosh was the lady who taught me to dance. She thoroughly deserves her MBE for her dedication, tolerance and patience. It couldn't always have been easy to keep smiling.

I had left Tain by 1949 but images of the dancing girls brought back fond memories. Alix Husain (Tulloch) lived in Ross Street, two doors down from me. Fondly remembered from a long time ago.
