Photo Description

This motor cycle works belonging to G A Ross was at the corner of Queen Street and King Street, opposite Gladstone Buidings. Unfortunately as with many of our photos we have no date for this picture. An Easter Ross Almanack of 1910, lists a George A Ross as a "Cycle Agent, King Street" and as having a "stance" in Petley Street. Presumably he also became a motor cycle agent when motor cycles became available which must have been around this time if the date given for Picture #151 is correct which is supposed to show the first motor cycle combination in Tain..
