This picture copied from a post card was given to the museum in 1985 with an accompanying note which states the scene is as the donor remembered it 70 years earlier. The turret in the middle foreground is that of Dunskaith House which is now demolished. Other information provided was that the cottage above the turret was occupied by a George Gibson and his two sons; on the right is the Ferry Inn and back left is Craig Lodge. The white spot beside, middle left edge is the white box marking the 1st tee of the old Nigg Golf Course.
